Deborah A. Long, O.D.Dr. Long graduated with a BA in Biology from UNC-Greensboro and obtained her Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. Dr. Long has been a member of the SC Optometric Association since 1980, has served on the board of directors for eight years and is a past president of the association. She was appointed by the Governor to serve on the SC Board of Examiners in Optometry and was elected to the SC House of Representatives as the District 45 Representative and is honored to continue to serve in that capacity.
Dr. Long is also a current member and past president of the Fort Mill Lions Club, is a member of the York and Lancaster Counties Chamber of Commerce, is the annual Fort Mill High School Career Day speaker, a member of the Fort Mill School District Medical Advisory Committee and attends Doby's Bridge Presbyterian Church. Dr. Long has been honored to receive many clinical and professional honors including being named the recipient of the SC Chamber of Commerce Business Advocacy Award and the York County Regional Chamber of Commerce Small Business Achiever in 2011. South Carolina Optometric Physicians Association awarded Dr. Long with Optometrist of the Year for 2016. Dr. Long has lived in Indian Land, SC since 1997 |
Adam Dutson, O.D.Dr. Dutson grew up in Northeast Ohio, and graduated with his Bachelor of Science degree in exercise physiology from Brigham Young University. He later attended and graduated with his Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University School Of Optometry.
During his studies he was able to train under some of the leading ophthalmologists at The Eye Institute of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah. He also received advanced training at the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center located in Huntington, WV. He later worked at the Quantico Health Care Center in Quantico, VA just outside of Washington D.C. Dr. Dutson has been trained in all aspects of optometry, including; infant care, family vision care, specialty contact lens fitting, refractive surgery co-management, and the diagnosis and treatment of both acute and chronic eye diseases. Dr. Dutson is an active member of the South Carolina Optometric Association and has been practicing optometry in the area since 2013. Dr. Dutson lives in Fort Mill with his wife and four young children. Dr. Dutson enjoys spending time with his family going to parks, eating at new restaurants, and enjoying the great outdoors of South Carolina. In his free time he tries to tee off as often as possible. |
Allyson Thomas Spratt, O.D.Having grown up in Fort Mill, both Dr. Allyson Spratt and her husband are true Fort Mill natives. After graduating from Fort Mill High School, she attended Clemson University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences. Dr. Spratt achieved her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, where she graduated Cum Laude and with clinical honors.
During her studies at The Eye Center clinic in Memphis, TN she received training in several specialty clinics, including, pediatrics, ocular disease, and contact lens. After she completed her clinical training, she was awarded ‘Top 10 Clinician” of her graduating class. Dr. Spratt is an active member of South Carolina Optometric Association. She has even served as Catawba Optometric Association president. She looks forward to working one on one with new patients and developing lasting relationships with her patients and their families. |
